This year's PL fireworks display was great! Even though I was watching with my family on a hillside park several kilometers away, the display was very beautiful and we didn't have to deal with any of the crowds!

ROR Comedy: New material, renewed venue.
This night saw most of the comedians that are a part of the ROR group try out some new material in the recently remodeled stage area below the L&L bar.
The wonderful atmosphere and great jokes made for a thoroughly entertaining event!
Rodney hosted the night and also provided a fair bit of laughs as well.
Momo explained about peaches.
Humour is international!
Leandro Soares
Dan Dorman
Yuuma enjoying the humour.
Tom Law
Austin Godfrey
Scott Crowe
Edd Daggers
The New Stage:
The Bar, for liquid courage should you need it.
The Mic: sometimes open mics are held, you can try it out yourself!
ROR Comedy: Guest Comedians
Recently ROR hosted two acts from London in the UK:
First was Yuriko Kotani who delivered some great comedy about things in the UK that are quite Brit-ish.
She was followed by the intensely energetic Phil Nichol:
Who even included some great audience participation:

Nipponbashi Street Festa 2016 日本橋ストリートフェスタ 2016 第12回
The 12th annual Nipponbashi Street Festa.
Much like the years before, there were many cosplayers and even more photographers and spectators choking the streets. In Japanese blocking the streets off for pedestrians only is called "歩行者天国" or Pedestrian Heaven, though this day it would be more accurate to take Sartre's words and rename it to "歩行者地獄" or Pedestrian Hell.
This is not a busy section of the crowd, it was all like this:
That said there were still many oportunties to get some good shots:
Ironman
Minecraft guy.
Creeper
Character from Biohazard/Resident Evil
Great detail!
Steampunk artisan: she and her husband run a business making steampunk accessories for which they had set up a pop up store for the festival, very well made stuff!
Got her eye on you!
Some of the more recent Kamen Rider characters:
Spectre, Nekrom, Wizard, Ghost, ?
Fantastic umbrella!
Going to the festival with the grandkid.
What a big axe you have?!
No idea what character this is, but I am very happy to have gotten the shot with no people in the background.
Yuna from FFX-2
Mariokart balloons!
I love to shoot the next three (ok, maybe all of them) in a studio or a background that wasn't a festival:
Yokai Watch! Jibanyan (Self-Matyred Cat) and Fuyunyan (Floaty cat)
Out of the Vault. The Nuka-Cola was exceptionally well done, they even distressed the label.
